Group
THERAPY

Healing often happens best in community. Our small group programs are intimate circles where mothers can share, process, and grow together while being guided by licensed specialists.

OUR THERAPIST

Monique Gill, LCPC, CCTP, PMH-C

is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois and Missouri, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and certified in Perinatal Mental Health. She specializes in supporting women and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the complex emotional transitions of early motherhood.

Monique is deeply experienced in providing care for families navigating prenatal and fetal diagnoses, NICU admissions and discharges, perinatal loss, birth trauma, race-based stress in birthing and parenting, and the often-unspoken challenges of adjusting to parenthood. Her work is grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience. As the mother of three girls, Monique brings a compassionate, deeply relational approach that honors each client’s story while remaining rooted in research-backed care.

Her therapeutic style is strength-based, collaborative, and affirming. Monique utilizes evidence-based modalities including Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all shown to be highly effective in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She is also trained in perinatal interventions such as ROSES (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for mothers of newborns) and Mother-Baby groups, offering early support for mild to moderate depression during pregnancy and postpartum.

Monique believes therapy should feel like a place of steadiness, understanding, and restoration—where mothers are supported not just in surviving this season, but in reclaiming their strength, voice, and sense of self.
