Meet Demia Doggette

Founder & Curator of Care, Selah Motherhood

Motherhood has been my greatest joy and the place that has transformed me more than anything else in life. In early 2025 my husband left for military training that kept him away for nine weeks with almost no contact. I was home with four children — a five-month-old, a two-year-old, a six-year-old, and an eight-year-old. What could have been a season of survival became a season of awakening. I exercised with my children beside me. I ate with intention. And I stepped into therapy for the first time. After that session, I breathed in a way I had not in years and thought to myself, every mother deserves this.

That single breath became the seed of Selah. What began as healing for myself revealed my reason for being created. I know this work carries the power to bring generational healing. When I show up whole for my children, I am showing them what it means to honor themselves. One day, the way they choose to care for their own lives will reflect what they first saw in me, and it will shape how they care for their children too.

Selah Motherhood is my offering and my legacy. A sanctuary where therapy, wellness, and beauty are not extras, but essentials. A sacred pause where mothers return to themselves and remember that joy, rest, and wholeness are their birthright.

We are dreaming big, and building Selah Motherhood in 3 intentional phases:

Phase 1

A virtual refuge for mothers seeking therapy or coaching

Phase 2

A beautiful physical location—crafted for deep healing

Phase 3

Immersive spaces and retreats that mothers carry forever
